  2. In a short time frame a feasibility report and reliable preliminary costing will be prepared and sent to the prospective client.
  3. A tailored project management approach to design and construct provides many benefits including cost and time saving, up-front pricing and completion time, plus single point accountability across the total project.

We have all necessary insurances including Professional Indemnity together with current complying OH&S manuals, risk assessment and site induction procedures. Workplace safety is our priority at all times.

Our Team

The two principals of SB Projects have a combined experience of over 50 years in commercial building projects. They are specialists in their particular areas of expertise and strive to deliver the finest quality of workmanship.

SB Projects has trusted relationships with a team of expert consultants and in all areas of commercial design, construction and delivery, from engineers and electricians to interior designers and landscapers.

Bryan Palmer has both practical and theoretical skills in property and construction. He spent many years managing a commercial & residential portfolio of 25 properties owned by the Catholic Church, including acquisition, construction, renovation and maintenance. Bryan has also completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard. At SB Projects Bryan has managed high quality office and industrial fitouts in the banking, legal, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.

Kirk Lawes has worked on many large-scale projects as an operations manager and project director. Most recently he was Building Manager NSW/ACT for Baulderstone with responsibility for multi-million dollar building projects.

As a Project Manager with vast experience in the Office Fit-Out industry, Aga as been taking care of the coordination of the full project life cycle starting from shell & core and finalizing with fully furnished and equipped office space for the client.

As the Project Manager, Dominic is onsite managing the delivery of fitout projects, utilising a suite of industry leading project management systems from the initial construction phase, through to completion and handover. Driving construction teams and subcontractors onsite, while managing client and consultant relationships, means SB Projects can deliver projects that are safe, on time and of a quality that supersedes our clients’ expectations.

SB Projects was instructed to refurbish a lobby in an iconic building in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs . The project involved decorative timber panelling, detailed architectural steel, tiling, electrical alterations and supplying installation of mirrors.

Amanda has more than 20 years experience in contract administration and project management of commercial building and property administration including the areas of legal, regulatory, contracts and leasing.

Environmental Sustainability

SB Projects is committed to the principles of sustainability by integrating economic, social and environmental goals in our policies and building activities when undertaking works and services. SB Projects’ policy is to:

  • Provide a safe, amenable, accessible environment for employees and subcontractors on our sites and Office
  • Ensure our practices of economic sustainability are meeting community expectations
  • Maximize the use of renewable energy sources by identifying efficient and responsible energy management practices, including minimizing carbon emissions
  • Encourage innovation and best practice sustainable design, construction and maintenance practices
  • Monitor emerging environmental technologies, equipment purchases and work processes relevant to our activities
  • Maintain a strong awareness of our legislative obligations and regularly monitor our compliance at both office and project level
  • Purchase equipment that reduces energy consumption and is technologically advanced
  • Encourage the use of environmentally sustainable recycled materials and reduce waste generation on all worksites
  • Minimize the use of materials that deplete natural resources or create toxic pollution
  • Manage noise so that adverse impacts on properties adjoining worksites are minimized

Corporate Social Responsibility

SB Projects takes its corporate social responsibility very seriously and actively supports projects for good both here and overseas.

ADARA
SB Projects supports the Adara Group which consists of two Australian corporate advisory businesses, whose sole purpose is to support our non-profit international development organisation, Adara Development. Together, they work to improve health and education for women, children and communities in need.

RAISE
Our support of the Raise youth mentoring programs help to provide a positive impact on the wellbeing of young people at risk of disengagement in Australia, through best practice youth mentoring programs.

Most Of The Coast
SB Projects was the main sponsor of Most of the Coast, an initiative of university students to raise funds for and awareness of Batyr.  We support Batyr’s vision for young Australians to engage in positive conversations about mental health and to be empowered to seek out help when needed.  SB Projects was impressed with the really positive work done by Batyr in NSW schools of delivering accessible, innovative peer-to-peer programs that engage, educate and empower young people. SB Projects was proud to support the Most of the Coast run from Palm Beach to Bondi with over 70 uni students running in relay teams to complete this tough but spectacular course and, through their efforts, raising over $15,000 for Batyr.

The Big Umbrella House
For the past 5 years, SB Projects has also supported home reconstruction and educational projects in Nepal.
